Hospitality Management is a concise and direct course that addresses the needs of the hospitality industry.

Several types of hospitality management and marketing will be covered.  Special emphasis will be given to public relations and publicity, marketing to business and leisure travelers, in addition to while preparing students to enter the field with working knowledge required of successful hospitality management professionals.

This course focuses on hospitality management and marketing as an industry, the processes of developing and implementing marketing plans, and personal sales. Additional topics that will be covered in this course include the tourism industry, tourism generators, quality lodging service, and organizational structures of hotels/motels, safety and security issues, facilities, operations and maintenance, hotel accounting and financial reporting, and careers in the industry.
